Where Stories Heal
Quest Soul Theatre was born from personal struggle and the powerful discovery that creativity can be a lifeline. Whether you’re navigating difficult times or simply seeking connection, drama has the ability to ground, uplift, and bring people together. We offer a safe, inclusive space where you’re free to explore, express, and reconnect—with yourself and with others.
Our workshops are designed to support mental wellbeing through engaging, accessible activities that suit all ages and backgrounds. Led with warmth, lived experience, and passion, every session focuses on the joy of the process—not the pressure to perform. Recognised by local health services and supported through social prescribing, Quest is where community, creativity, and care come together.

Testimonials
This is giving me the confidence to be me… at a time when it’s easy to feel invisible.
Compared to past drama groups, I find Quest more enjoyable and free of pressure.
I am so thankful for Quest… coming to a welcoming group each week has been amazing. It’s helped me face challenges I avoided for years.
Before coming to the classes I was nervous and lacked confidence. The classes have helped a lot. Thank you.
I attend the West Wickham Quest. The facilitators are positive, supportive and encouraging. It makes me laugh and feel happy.
These sessions have helped keep my mind focused during difficult family issues.
It is a time to heal my inner child.
After just two sessions I already feel much happier… I now feel invigorated and less stressed. These sessions are far better than any medication.
It was a very enjoyable session. I felt confident and alive during and after.
Having lost my partner, I felt more isolated… The sessions allow me social interaction as me, not part of a couple.
Quest has helped me to become more outward looking yet also more confident in my own abilities. I feel like creativity is a bit like learning another language… being prepared to make mistakes in order to grow. To still be learning at nearly 53 feels wonderful and has made me more resilient.
At a recent Drama Conference, Mercedes’ workshop was an absolute joy. Innocent yet challenging. Playful yet thought provoking. A very different way of working and highly recommended.
– Alan Spence: Author, playwright, Director
I don’t know what you did but the members were waxing lyrical about how wonderful you were and that is praise indeed as some of them will have seen roughly 1300 speakers over the past seven years since I have been working here!!!
– Pamela from Kent Association for the Blind
Just enjoy these sessions so much – escapism on a Friday.
A great life skill. Drama is great for standing in other people’s shoes, and experiencing life from their perspective.
This has been my first real experience of a drama group… the sheer excitement of doing something new, later in life. It’s always felt safe.
I really don’t feel there is anything that I could suggest – it’s all been wonderful, I just gave it a go, and I’m glad I did!
