It is about a middle-aged couple who lose everything – home, money, their business. On the very day they face these losses, the husband is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Left with nothing, they decide to walk the South West Coastal Path (630 miles) from Minehead, Somerset, to Polman, Cornwall.
The book captures the Winns’ relationship, the changing seasons, the characters they meet along the way, and their amazing love and resilience.
